Sometimes, size equals strength. Sometimes, the bigger they are the harder they fall. Real Estate is a funny business in that way. In the previous century, bricks and mortar signalled strength–as did full-page ads, ubiquitous open houses, and giant lists of associated agents. But the world has changed–especially the world of real estate. As more and more real estate companies flocked to the siren song of national franchises with their promised large paydays, many agents bought into the idea of high-tech, low-touch revenue that comes from automation and delegating the client to a myriad of assistants and outside service providers. Not us. Instead, we embraced innovation combined with old-fashioned service. At Davis Real Estate, you won’t get lost in the shuffle.

At Davis Real Estate, protecting our clients’ best interests is JOB 1.  We refuse to give up the flexibility that comes from being a small, nimble and responsive company that can quickly adapt to the challenges of today’s marketplace. Founded as Larry Davis Real Estate in the 1970’s, our company name for part of the 1980’s and 1990’s was “MarketPlace Real Estate”.  The unfortunate result was that some longtime client’s of Larry’s mistakenly thought that he had left the business, so the result was simply Davis Real Estate. That name continued after Larry’s son Steve took over the brokerage responsibilities in July 2008.  Although Larry Davis passed away in January of 2009, the company continues to adhere to the principles he believed in: The Client Always Comes First.
